This weekend, Angelinos turned out in a big way for peace and restraint in the wake of the September 11th tragedies.

A Friday night vigil was held in Little Tokyo on the spot where during WWII, Little Tokyo's Japanese residents were rounded up to be shipped to internment camps. The vigil was held to promote racial tollerance and peace and to condemn terrorism. The following photographs contain images and short stories;

According to LA News Station KTLA, 3,000 people marched through the Westwood Area of Los Angeles. Here are some of the many photos;

On Monday, allegations of security interference with people's first amendment's rights at the Westwood March surfaced. 1st ammendment concerns.

A smaller protest march wound throught the downtown core. This march contained the official remains of the S29 Coalition in solidarity with the canceled DC World Bank Protests. Here are some photos of the event;
