In solidarity with the people of Colombia and their efforts to rid themselves of the US initiative called Plan Colombia, a policy program that many have likened to the US intervention in Vietnam but with the additional factors of
DRUGS and
OIL, the CSULB Campus Progressives Collective will sponsor a
FORUM on U.S. involvement in Latin America called "What's Wrong with Plan Colombia?" This event will be held on Wednesday, October 3rd at 12:00 PM in the USU Small Auditorium at CSULB.
On Friday, October 5th at 12:00 PM at the Westwood Federal Building there will be a
DEMONSTRATION against Plan Colombia. We are asked to bring signs.
