LOS ANGELES, July 10, 2006 – U.S. Rep. Waters has declared Mr. Horowitz’s bulldozing of South Central Farm “unconscionable” and unbelievably disrespectful towards the farmers of the nation’s largest urban farm. Rep. Water’s statements were made yesterday regarding the callous and disheartening act of bulldozing the South Central Farm before the Superior Court case July 12 determining whether the sale of the land to Mr. Horowitz by the City of L.A. in 2003 was legal.
