LOS ANGELES, August 15, 2006 – The Los Angeles District Attorney’s office is aggressively prosecuting the farmers and their supporters who took direct action to stop the bulldozing of the South Central Farm on July 5th this past month. The trial for three of these activists is set to start this Thursday. The Farmers are asking people to show support by attending the hearing and to call the DAs office and urge them to drop the charges.
