RIVERSIDE, February 7, 2009 - In urgent response to the rash of Border Patrol raids across the Inland Empire, community members convened at Riverside City Hall to express frustration with the agency's family-devastating policies. Raids in the area have been increasing since December, when Border Patrol agents visited the San Bernardino Greyhound station, targeting holiday travelers. The demonstration comes in response to the January 29 Border Patrol raids on several day labor sites in the area.
