Mr. pResident's recent visit out here was received by a diversity of opinion . The LA protest kicked up that ever useful debate of tactics on the LA and San Diego IMC news wires. Always in season, a conversation is especially pertinent now as the "war on terrorism" rolls into a new year and thinks about smoking Iraq. The Not in Our Name project has proactively entered the debate by calling for 2 days of action on October 6th and 7th to commemorate the first days of bombing in Afghanistan. The Chicano Moratorium held an anti-war and aniversary march this week (photo)and continues to hold forums on how the latino community should move forward. The LA-IMC hopes to facilitate this discussion by launching a new Perpetual War feature page. Here is a thought piece on posted to the news-wire entitled The War on Iraq: While It Will Happen and What We Can Do . In addition, check out the activist links and background information provided on Z-Net's Iraq Watch.
