action alert posted by Faramarz Nabavi of the Stop Cadiz Coalition (faramarz@riseup.net) calls for continued pressure on the LA Metropolitan Water District (MWD) to dump a proposal by
Cadiz Inc. Cadiz' scheme has publicly owned water being pumped onto private land and piped with public funds to be sold back to the city for private profit. Unjustifiable on moral, philosophical, legal and historic terms, the Cadiz proposal is not doing well- but activists call for continued outrage to end their discussion on the plan alltogether.
