Thursday morning in Downtown LA, on the twelfth anniversary of the start of the bombing campaign of the Gulf War, 17 citizens of conscience staged a Die-In in front of the Federal Building to protest Bush Jr's plans for Gulf War II. All 17 participants were arrested, processed at Parker Center, and released by early afternoon. They are scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 6. Around 50-75 solidarity demonstrators witnessed the Die-in. This was the first civil disobedience action in Southern California to protest W.'s plans for War on Iraq.
