On Sunday, March 9, 2003, a couple thousand compañeros and compañeras marched through the center of East LA to protest Bush's War on Iraq. The day started with a 10am rally at Atlantic Park; the march then headed down Atlantic to Whittier and across to a large rally at Salazar Park. The event was organized by Latinos Against the War.
