On Tuesday March 18th 2003, at 2pm, residents of Los Angeles who have been to Palestine as human rights observers/ activists will hold a Press Conference at the Offices of Senator Barbara Boxer - 312 N. Spring Street - to mourn the death of International Solidarity Movement activist Rachel Corrie, who was crushed to death by an Israeli Army bulldozer on Sunday.
The organizers of the press conference are calling on the United States Government to: 1) Conduct a Full and Independent Inquiry in the Death of Rachel Corrie at the hands of the Israeli Military; 2) Take Responsibility for the Role that United States Military Aid played in her death; 3) End all US Military Aid to Israel; 4)Condemn the violent escalation of Israeli military actions in Palestine that have claimed hundreds of lives in the past few weeks.
