STOP THE U.S. OCCUPATION AND MILITARY DOMINATION OF THE WORLD NOW!
Not In Our Name, in conjunction with
A.N.S.W.E.R. and
Afghan Women's Mission, invite like-minded groups and individuals to join them in occupying the lawn of the Westwood Federal Building this
Friday, August 22, 2003. We will arrive in full force, a peace army...imagine the lawn completely covered with a multicolored patchwork of tents, each with it's own theme. Set up your own tent, complete with banners, photos, and messages of resistance!
We will occupy the lawn at noon, and in the evening voice our resistance through speakers, musicians, and poets. Let us show the world that we unequivocally oppose our government’s actions, and let us remind the Bush Administration that the power of this country is, and will always be, in the hands of the people!
7,800 civilians killed in Iraq. 4,000 killed in Afghanistan.
BREAK THE SILENCE!
Another world is possible, and we pledge to make it real!
