Sherman Martin Austin, webmaster of
RaisetheFist.com was sentenced to one year in prison on August 4, 2003, for having a link to bomb making information on his website, with intent that the information be used to commit a federal crime of violence. The constitutionality of the law he was convicted under is now under question.
Rob "Ruckus" Middaugh was recently released from Avenal State Prison, after serving two years for trumped up charges stemming from his involvement in the 2001 Long Beach May Day demonstration. After being released from Avenal, Federal Marshals came for him and he is now being charged with assaulting a government official. Aparently getting splashed with soda constitutes federal assault.
Stop the railroading of these two activists!
