Its activists have cooked and served free vegetarian meals to the homeless and hungry people since 1996. Every Sunday they gather at the
A house at 2 PM to cook donated food which they serve to the homeless at Pershing Square at 6 PM. On an average, they give away between 200 to 300 free meals a week.
