May 1, 2005 - As of the time of this article the NYC-IMC site is down and has been down for 4 days. Hackers replaced the homepage with one of their own. The image here is a screen grab of what people attempting to access the site got instead.
People trying to reach the sites attacked are now being be directed to the US-IMC site until the problem is fixed. Austin, Atlanta and several other local IMC websites have also been attacked. The LA-IMC was also down this Sunday, but there is no indication that it was related. There is some good information and discussion on the Portland IMC site on the details of this event.
