You may have noticed that this site has been experiencing outages and extended periods of downtime. The LA-IMC collective would like to dispel any rumors about this being due to the work of hackers, such has occurred with the New York IMC site. Nor was the downtime due to any action on the part of any government agency. The site was down for technical reasons.
We hope that we have resolved these problems and can provide the local community with more reliable service in the future. The current collective is unpaid, understaffed and grossly under funded. Still, we remain dedicated to the mission of independent media. Thank you for your patience.
Update: The site is now on new hardware, and should be more reliable.
