Lopez Family Files Claims Against LAPD
LOS ANGELES, September 27, 2005 – Lorena Lopez and her family announced the filing of claims against Police Chief William Bratton and the City of Los Angeles for the death of her 19 month old daughter Suzie Pena, killed by SWAT on July 10th. The claim will establish the criminal negligence of Chief Bratton and his SWAT commanders who ordered the attack during a hostage situation, which resulted in the death of Suzie Pena.
