The nationwide counter-recruitment campaign is gaining momentum. The campaign is seen by many as a direct action against the Achilles Heel of the Bush regime’s ability to continue the war in Iraq and elsewhere. The logic of no soldiers: no war is taking hold and the defense department's own figures show that the counter-recruitment campaign is having an effect. There are a number of planned actions for the month of December here in Los Angeles. This Saturday’s upcoming demonstration at the Los Angeles Recruiting Battalion at 5051 Rodeo Road is expected to be one of the largest such actions to date.
