With the strength of the Anti-Bush movement growing and the calls for his removal from office becoming louder, the Nixon Library in Yorba Linda seems like a good choice for a demonstration. Nixon was the first president to resign from office rather than face impeachment. Now as the crimes of Bush regime are becoming apparent to even his former supporters it seems that Bush too may be forced to step down. The
Orange County Peace Coalition, a local, non-partisan, grassroots organization has put out the call for a demonstration at the Nixon Library this upcoming Presidents Day. Considering the nationwide protests in response to Tuesday’s state of the union address, this month’s Presidents Day may be less a day of recognition, and more a day of protest.
