On Sunday, August 13th, San Pedro and Wilmington will be connected by the country’s largest open streets event! Join us for CicLAvia

- San Pedro meets Wilmington presented by Metro!

SoCal 350, March and Rally LA, and other organizations are calling on our partners and supporters to spread out in the streets with @CicLAvia and become a Climate Rider. Bring your bicycle, scooter, rollerblades or tennis shoes and meet fellow environmental justice campaigners and help spread awareness of the largest concentration of refineries as well as two international ports located in the region that affect health and wellness of the people living and breathing there.

Meet us at W. 19th St. and South Pacific Avenue in San Pedro. We will be assisting with the flow of bicycles as well as talking to participants about climate change and how to get involved. From there, our #ClimateRiders will head on on the route for CicLAvia and spread the word!

Streets will be closed to cars and open for cyclists, pedestrians, runners and skaters to use as a recreational space.

New to CicLAvia? Here are some things you need to know for August 13th:

-CicLAvia is FREE!

-CicLAvia runs from 9 AM until 4 PM

-CicLAvia closes streets to car traffic and opens them for people to walk, skate, bike, play, and explore parts of Los Angeles.

-CicLAvia is not a race! There's no starting point or finish line - begin where you like and enjoy the day your way.

-CicLAvia traffic flows in two directions, just like regular traffic.

-Metro bike share is launching in San Pedro and Wilmington! Check out the brand new Metro Bike Share stations indicated by the yell
