Screening of the film "Trapped" (Planned Parenthood)

Women's Rights Action Group of Tapestry Unitarian Universalist Congregation will sponsor the screening of "Trapped" - a 2016 documentary that follows the physicians, clinic owners and workers, and the lawyers who were on the front lines of the battle to keep abortion safe and legal for millions of American women. Retired Federal Judge and Planned Parenthood Community Action Fund Board Member, Lynne Riddle, who will introduce the film by explaining its legal backdrop, Roe v. Wade (1973) and Planned Parenthood v. Casey (1992), and at its conclusion will share the outcome of the U.S. Supreme Court's Whole Women's Health vs. Hellerstedt (June 2016), and its effects on accessibility to exercise right of "choice". This will be an INTERACTIVE event, with time for discussion.
