Pasadena Protests Musk-Tr*mp

Last week there was a reported 300 participants at Pasadena's Elon Musk protest, and at least that many turned out this week. Energized protesters lined both sides of Colorado on the long block between De Lacy and Pasadena Ave., and about half a block east between De Lacy and Fair Oaks.

People showed up and began demonstrating at least half an hour before the official starting time. Protesters were of all ages, at least two were veterans concerned about cut-backs in Veteran's Affairs. A few of the many senior citizens present expressed concern about the future of their grandchildren.

"This is therapeutic," I overheard another participant say. Others talked about all that's at stake with Musk and Tr*mp's massive power grab. A dad passing by with a small child said, "This is a protest."
