Over 100 progressive organisations in the United States have come together to organise a national day of solidarity with Colombia next month. The main aim of the protest is to call for an end to US military aid to the Colombian security forces.

End the Arms Race is spearheading an international coalition of unions and peace and anti-corporate globalization groups who are organizing an international teach-in on the militarization and criminalization of dissent. The teach-in will be held October 5/6 in Ottawa Canada during the meetings of the NATO-Parliamentary Assembly.
