POMONA, California - A youthful group of about fifty gathered in downtown Pomona to march, rally, and otherwise lift their voices about the need for immigration reform, social justice, and popular participation in decisionmaking processes. The march was organized and executed exclusively by the youth, who, while accepting the solidarity of more established movement activists, were also taking very seriously their responsibility to lead the movement.

This e-mail received from a good friend and he vouches for the authenticity of the message. As you read this, think about the murder rate on the streets of every metroplex in this nation. Summed up -- very likely in the double digits-daily. So why is there not the outrage exhibited by the Liberals in the media to match their outrage about our forces in Iraq? Do you suppose it is safer for our troops on the streets of Baghdad than it is for us on the streets of our large cities? Or is it the Vietnam card being replayed?

These cops were trying really hard to "look" like they were black bloc demonstrators. The Black Bloc are typified as thin young looking fellows, and these guys, well.... We just don't know what they were thinking. I guess they were trying to be slick, and put up a front that obviously didn't work. Here they are exposed by one of the SDIMC cameramen. This is also a photo exported from video, and so we have footage of these guys strolling along with the activists acting as if they were one of them.
