The education crisis - just a symptom of general social failure (tags)
One aspect of our society, which is oriented towards self-interest rather than the common good, is that the systemic relevance of education is increasingly taking a back seat to being a market to be served and a nice playground for endless political debates and reforms with little substance, the main aim of which is to preserve the market and the hereditary farms...
"One must expect a tsunami of global inflation, further impoverishment and mass migration (of cheap labor) - and all of this will be blamed on Putin. One must expect the return of pandemic threats that support ongoing efforts to globalize vaccine passports and the digitization of life."
A good future beyond the market and the state (tags)
In the midst of a blindly globalized society, we are atomized workers and consumers divided by competition, who are in contact with each other primarily through monetary and labor relations and only exceptionally and temporarily represent common interests. We become increasingly helpless...
"It's the economy stupid!" (tags)
US unemployment at the start of April 2020 is higher than at the peak of the 1929 Great Depression. Trump is to blame for the botched response to the Coronavirus that he initially called a hoax. The real hoax is Trump's commitment to America!

Brazil: SEMI-ARID will be a thing of the past? (tags)
In this process truly poetic rather than scientific, in which consortia of species succeed in building an environment increasingly rich and varied, every plant, every animal, every micro-organism has its contributory role, being the man for the first time in history, leaving his sad protagonist role of stingy tormentor of nature and life and move creatively to assume the coordination of the construction process.

The mainstream media in the United States has never been a vehicle for truth or justice. Increasingly, the mainstream has been about theofascist treason for the financial gain of the rich white elite.

WOT - (NYT) Chinese Government attempts to censor internet news of Dongzhou massacre (tags)
As described by the New York Times article (below) the corrupt, revisionist (ie: fake marxist) government of China is attempting to censor all news of last week's massacre of 20 or more farmers in Dongzhou, in southern China. This attempt to suppress news of this massacre may (or may not) be successful in the short run. But, in the long run, these kinds of attempts to suppress the news are doomed to failure. This story is of great significance to activists today who want to build a powerful and militant mass movement for a world that is not ruled by imperialism and the bourgeoisie.
Iraq: Turmoil Among the Warmakers, Challenge For the People (tags)
The war in Iraq, to understate the case, is not going well for the U.S. imperialists. The resistance to the U.S. occupation within Iraq has spread and grown more capable. The conflicts between the many different political, ethnic and class forces within Iraq show little sign of resolution, and the puppet Iraqi army is still not able to fight on its own. In response, the U.S. has escalated its tactics of wholesale terror directed against the Sunni Muslim population as a whole, which is the main (though not the only) base of the insurgency. Making all this worse--from the imperialist standpoint, that is--is the increasingly widespread and sharp sentiment against the war within the U.S. itself. And interplaying with that is a growing disaffection and anger within the army itself.
Scoundrel Time: The Flag Amendment (tags)
With the public increasingly opposed to continued war and occupation in Iraq, the worthies in Congress who put American troops there in the first place and who can't figure out how to get them out now are resorting to a tried and true diversionary tactic: The Flag Protection Amendment. What's next? An amendment banning pie throwing? ----------------
The Difference Between Bolivia's Incas and Us (tags)
The Incas and Bolivian workers who are protesting and driving from power their sell-out leaders have a clear understanding of how the ruling elite is attacking them. We Americans have been easily tricked by the ruling parties’ sleight-of-hand use of “wedge” politics, into actually supporting our own destruction. -------------------
Against Rightwing Demagogues (tags)
Migrants did not only serve Nazis as scape-goats. As the fascists declared the Jews scapegoats, their grandchildren today blame foreigners for unemployment and social cuts. We need a literacy campaign against the social demagogues of the right wing.

Is Zionism a Failed Ideology? (tags)
"In Israel, Avraham Burg, former speaker of the Knesset, recently warned that if Israel wishes to preserve what little democracy it still has, it must either withdraw to its pre-1967 boundaries or grant full citizenship to the approximately 3.5 million Palestinians in the occupied territories, a step that would spell the virtual end of the Jewish state...."
