RIVERSIDE (California) - El Foro Latino de Occupy Riverside hoy celebró tres meses de la existencia del movimiento "Occupy" con comida tradicional, música de resistencia, y piñatas en el Parque Fairmount de esta ciudad del interior del sur de California.

Southern California Anarchist Convergence draws over 50 (tags)
RIVERSIDE - This weekend's Southern California Anarchist Convergence attracted upwards of fifty people. The participants met to share food and water, have fun, discuss, network, and strategize. Primary organizers included the Riverside and Temecula chapters of Food Not Bombs, who spread the invitation to "revolutionaries from all over Southern California, food not bombs, and radicals" primarily via internet.

On the corner of Broad and Walnut in Center City, Philadelphia, August 10, 2002, more than 25 MOVE members and supporters (including several visiting from Spain) gathered for a demonstration to commemorate August 8, 1978. On this day, 24 years ago, more than 500 heavily armed police officers attacked MOVE headquarters in the Powelton Village neighborhood of West Philadelphia. When the MOVE family fled into the basement to avoid the attack, police countered by flooding them out and imprisoning the MOVE 9 for the murder of Police officer James Ramp.
