Their flesh melting off, many perished while looking for water to ease their suffering.

More than 500 people showed up at the annual protest against police brutality. In 2002 the numbers were much higher. Last year many people could not make it because of the bus strike, and this year many people were busy, I suppose, with the coming election. In 2005 and 2006 thought, the October 22nd Coalition Against Police Brutality will be held respectively on Saturday and Sunday. Many people who could not otherwise attend this protest because of commintments at work or at school will come massively in the streets to protest the increasingly oppressing police state backed by fascist legislations such as the Home Land Security Law. We’ll see you there, and we’ll rock the house! Below find 10 images about this year event.

It was a blank check to the president to attack anyone involved in the Sept. 11 events -- anywhere, in any country, without regard to our nation's long- term foreign policy, economic and national security interests, and without time limit. In granting these overly broad powers, the Congress failed its responsibility to understand the dimensions of its declaration. I could not support such a grant of war-making authority to the president; I believe it would put more innocent lives at risk.
