ACTA's report, "Defending Civilization: How Our Universities Are Failing America, and What Can Be Done About It," pretends to present a picture America's campuses as the "weak link" in responding to the terrorist attacks of September 11. ACTA's attack is based on the assumption that academia's role should be that of a cheerleader.
