Internal Strife at SOS - Part I (tags)
While Save Our State and the Minutemen have seemingly been enjoying an upswing in momentum lately certain factors have become apparent that may point to a change. Following the July 8th police beatings of anti-Minutemen protestors and the subsequent giddy elation displayed by the Minutemen and SOS in the face of such violence, certain factors have come into play which highlight the authoritarian nature of Save Our State and the fact that some of the rank-and-file may get burned by the leadership very soon.
Save Our State and the Minutemen declared a showdown. Counterprotestors didn't see it that way but won the day anyway.
The xenophobic media darlings, Save Our State made their scheduled appearance in Burbank to protest the opening of a Day Labor/Temporary Worker Center adjacent to the new Home Depot.

All of these lineages, together with those of several chiefly lines connected to all of the Hawaiian Islands, converge in the genealogy of Edmund Keli'i Silva, Jr., as confirmed by the House of Nobles of the Kingdom of Hawai'i. As a result, these same nobles sought out Mr. Silva and asked his to serve as the next reigning monarch of the Hawaiian Islands in an effort to restore the kingdom to its once independent state.

The photograph below shows Don Silva, a top spokeperson for Save Our State (SOS), the immigrant bashing group founded by Joe Turner, holding up the blue banner, "DEPORT ILLEGAL ALIENS," along with a man reputed to be "Advocate," at the Saturday, July 16th, 2005 rally against the day laborer center in Laguna Beach, California. A woman reputed to be "Dixieland_Delight" poses before the camera while waving an American flag. Both "Advocate" and "Dixieland_Delight" are known to be white supremacists and have posted messages under these psuedonyms on the Stormfront White Nationalist Website.
